Springtime on the farm

March and April are calving season on our farm. We had three Dexter calves born this year, Rose, Ferguson and Finnegan, they are healthy happy babies They are so cute and add smiles to our day watching them play.
It is also time to start our tomato and pepper plants and yesterday we potted the plants. As soon as it warms up we be will be transferring the seedlings to our hot bed. I am excited Mark is building me a new hot bed from cedar milled from our farm, it smells wonderful! I am looking forward to being outside and gardening, absorbing the sun and working in the soil. It is very rewarding to plant your garden and reap the benefits of your labor.
In our weaving shop we have been busy working on orders and are very thankful that our customers are supporting us during the COVID-19 shut down. It’s going to be a very different year for us as several of our Art Shows have canceled, we don’t know what to expect and will keep you posted. As of today our first show will be in July as our May and June shows are not going on this year.
We’re excited to launch our Shopify website, it’s much more user friendly and has a shop connected to our Facebook business page.
